Westside Regional Center. I called and inquired about an evaluation and did all of the paperwork myself. Got a formal diagnosis at 3. ABA wait lists are long...2-6 months. I live in Culver City.

Las Virgines School District was very good to us although my son received early intervention when we were living in Burbank and we did everything through the Lanterman Regional Center. That is the first thing you should do. Find the regional Center in your area.
When your child starts going to school, get yourself an Special needs attorney (we used Dina Kaplan) and get familiar with an advocate. Los Angeles is difficult depending on what area you live in.
