Pediatricians dont usually know What or just How MUCH when it comes to NATURAL Remedies and Treatments.People educated in the fields of Homeopathy, Naturapathy or AromaTherapy usually have had Extensive training and have plenty of Knowledge in those areas. You can Always call your Pharmacist about the Amount of Epsom Salts to use to be on the SAFE Side.I CAN tell you that Epsom Salts are Often used as a LAXATIVE..... so Whatever Amount you use Be VERY CAREFUL about Allowing your little one to DRINK the Bath Water. An OK Amount for Adults to take Internally could be a Very Dangerous Dose for a Small or Young Child. And the amount that is SAFE to SOAK IN is NOT the same amount that is SAFE to Consume ORALLY.The same goes for the Essential Oils ........a Little bit goes a VERY LONG WAY.And Most Essential Oils are NOT meant to be Consumed or Taken Internally, Some are NOT meant to be used FULL STRENGTH , or for an EXTENDED Amount of Time which could mean only days or as long as only a Week......Just Know and try to Keep in Mind that Using Too Much or in the Wrong Way or for Too Long CAN be Harmful so If you cant get Information from someone you TRUST and that has had professional or medical guidance HOW to use it that has used it themselves, The BEST and Most ADVISABLE thing to do would be to Consult with someone who has had Extensive TRAINING and EXPERIENCE in the Dosage and Use of Essential Oils and Homeopathic and Natural Remedies. If this is NOT POSSIBLE then you can always GOOGLE some Well Known and Highly Trusted Medical sites to get the Information and Guidance you are needing to treat your daughter and to be assured (for your daughters Sake and Safety) that you are administering the correct Dosage and using them properly.

I use one cup in a full bath for my 9 year old son, but he weighs 90 pounds and is tall. He also will not drink the water but he used to at a younger age. If you arent filling the bath all the way i would just sprinkle a bit in maybe a 1/4 cup. I would also really watch to make sure your little one doesnt drink the water. I second the idea of contacting a naturopath or homeopathic doctor for advice going forward. Good luck!

Thanks everyone I did research on Goggle. For children under 60 lbs the recommendation is a half a cup of Epsom salt. He is 56 lbs so half a cup it is.
