I'm trying to find what kind of door knob covers I can get. I have the ones that have the open sides and my 8 yr old ASD was able to figure out how to open it and she escapes outside when I'm not looking. Does anyone have any good ideas or good knob covers that she won't be able to figure out? I also have an alarm on my door but she knows if she closes the door quickly it stops. She is a very smart little girl. Thank you

I have a chain lock at the top of my door that only myself and husband can reach. You could also get a slide lock too. Mine is the master of escape lol. You have to do whatever you can do to keep your child safe. If your renting tell your landlord that you need to have lock at the top of the door. I believe they have to comply.
