You can get folate supplements or even better folinic acid, less harmful than folic acid. Or ask your doctor for methylated folate. methylated folate is folic acid that has already been broken down and makes it easier for the body to absorb, even if your have the MTHFR mutation.

We use Kids Calm. I just wish that the Folate was natural instead of Folic acid. Kirkman brand also has some good options.

Hi everyone. Does anyone know what kind of multivitamin would be best for my ten year old son. I was giving him Flintstone multivitamins but was reading that Autistic children need much more nutrients?
