Our daughter has two one for school one for home..works if she can use it before it is too late
They have helped! But only if you use them properly. My son at his old school had a weighted vest. School was not trained on how to use it. So they would put it on him when he was upset. He felt like he was being punished. So he would not want the vest. This Christmas we received a weighted blanket. He asks for it, he calls it his weighted sack! To get him used to it I would offer it while he was calmly watching TV, or on his iPad, I put it over us when I would read him a story and I would tuck him in at night with it. It became such a normal part of our routine that he now asks for it when he feels he needs it! It’s something that he has control over, and he enjoys the weighted cuddle of his blanket! Hope this is helpful!
