Is Depakote a good medication for and adult male with violent rage behaviors?

In some people it’s actually a kind of seizure and seizure meds can help. Also for some it’s inflammation caused by food allergies or food intolerances and hydroxyzine can help. Gut issues like chronic constipation, GERD, can also cause aggressivity.

My son took that in his early 20's (he's almost 33 now) and it worked great! Fewer outrages and he felt better about himself at 1st.

My son took took depakote and it worked wonders. He had bad blood work so had to come off of it. I have a friend who 20 year old takes it.

Our son has been on it and i haven't noticed much of a difference. At school hes been even more aggressive at times. Hes taking 750mg/day and he weighs 160. Hes gained a lot since hes been on it. Anyone have suggestions for alternate meds? He just turned 18 in early February.
