How did they recover after anesthesia? Where they the same as before? THe reason I ask is because some people had bad experience with sedation and claim their kids did not perform as before and lost skills. I am a little cautious and scared about doing it. Your input appreciated!

We didn't know he could get SSI until a lady at the Medicaid office here said he could. It was a really long process! His case took a really long time in the decision process and even now that he's got it the social security office is a pain! That's kinda crap they told you that because for Medicaid it doesn't matter what kind of disability they have if they are a child in the state they qualify for it or if they are a certain age they get chip, which here is called Montana Healthy Kids which is what our kids are on. Maybe try and refile and get a different caseworker. Here their insurance only covers a little bit of his therapies and out of pocket for us would be close to $350 a month and that's with the state insurance. It is a shame but I'm working on getting my degrees in speech ot and ABA to work on it with himself and we are going to start homeschooling this fall

Are they all separate pills/gummies or is there one with most of those vitamins in them?
@A MyAutismTeam Member There was one doctor here but she retired so now there isn't anyone here. Plus Montana's funding got cut really bad last year for these types of things so there isn't even really any early childhood intervention groups here anymore and the one that there is has a really long wait list and you only see them once a month instead of once every two weeks. We've been doing CBD gummies are those are seriously our life savers! We also do vitamin c every morning and vitamin d since he stopped drinking milk, and we are going to start him on some iron but we have to be careful because iron issues run really high in my family so it's been nerve racking. We are on our 7th pediatrician and she still isn't listening to us about anything for our oldest and not even our youngest who isn't on the spectrum.
@A MyAutismTeam Member I believe there are pediatricians that specialize in autism. Is there anyone In your area like that? We’ve never been referred any medication so far, (I am also not a fan) but I am interested in looking into the vitamins. Your pediatrician should definitely be listening to you or at the very least explaining why they aren’t addressing your requests or concerns. Don’t give up on finding someone right for your child. I know it’s a challenge, I’m there with you. 🤗

My son was referred to a neurologist who ordered the test. I also heard removing the obstruction would help but they are not quick to remove it if it isn’t causing any immediate problems or growing. I guess they believe the risk is too high for an uncertain outcome.
