How Are Folks Managing Therapies And Coronavirus Risks Or Outbreaks?
Guidance from CDC is addressing certain health groups (eg those with lung and heart conditions, and others, elderly, and eldery w health conditions) on tips for limiting outside contact, large groups, travel, etc. If you have COVID19 cases in your area, are you continuing with therapy services? We have combination of in home and clinic.
It's in our county now, 2 cases. Therapist comes to our house. Just taking it one day at a time.
I got a site from our school to help with anxiety. Got child working on her school work. Getting house in order better. Have most of what we need. School is giving out pack and go lunches and breakfasts for our entire district. No resident cases yet, the two for our county were weekenders. Hubby and I have to be careful and have explained this to Tay. She will not be visiting her other grandfather this weekend to keep him safe. He has kidney problems. Hope everyone else is safe. I had trouble getting back in today.
Not doing services unless the school staff contacts us or T. for an online class on her Google classroom. We have more cases in our county, so hubby and I go out for the early shop for my age and his medical problems. Will try again tomorrow to get T. to get the work done she never finished for last week. I do get notified daily what assignments are late and what is due by each later date. She often complains she is overwhelmed when I tell her about what is missing at 4pm.
They are doing over the phone therapy in my area. It won't work for my child sadly but that is the only option
Then she and the 7 year old can eat better and give child some other things she can do to give Mom a 15 minute break once in awhile
