How do I help my 21 year old, high functioning boy make friends?

My 21 year old wants friends so bad, and he has so much to offer, I just don't know what to do, or how to go about helping him meet people, and make friends. Does anyone have any ideas?

Yeah, I know. He wants to meet friends, but won't put himself out there, so I am stumped
