This is tearing us apart as we end up going home as he gets onto a state. My son also starts secondary school in September and if he acts like that my fear is he will get picked on. Any help is appreciated.
All insects? Surely some of them are less scary than others. My ASD daughter likes ladybugs, bees and ants. Spiders aren't insects but she does fear them. I'd try to expose him to at least one of his least scary bugs for starters. Personally, I really like to see a praying mantis.
