Not to worry you but Guanfacine has a side effect of low blood pressure. My son couldn’t take it because of this. I read it can cause mood swings & irritability. Insomnia is a common side effect too. It also said to drink plenty of water, avoid dehydration & getting overheated. I hope this helps & he feel better soon.

I hope things get better. Sometimes it's hard to find the right combination of stuff that works. Abilify I feel like helped my son with some of this stuff but every kid is different.

Has he ever taken Adderall? I've been on it for about 15 years and it helps my focus and motivation greatly!
