No, this isn’t a joke. My son is 4 years old and was diagnosed with ASD about a year ago. He’s not very verbal although he says words, but not too clearly, and sometimes short phrases. He does verbal stimming where he babbles and laughs to himself and makes other noises. As a very young child, before he showed any signs of autism, he was a very neurotypical child up until about 20 months old. Yes, or, he got so worked up the distress triggered the seizure. He seems to be perseverating on the show, maybe see if there’s other shows where he doesn’t get so worked up or see if watching shows in general for certain amounts of time triggers it. Ryan’s toy reviews was a big favorite at that age but gets annoying after awhile, but there’s less drama and sad faces and much more happy and comedy.
