Hi. My daughter also is 3 well 3 1/2 she also has severe Autism and over stimulated. She’ll have tantrums / cry all day if she doesn’t get her way. So I decided to get her checked by a chiropractor who specializes in kids with Autism. Help my daughter a lot w/her tantrums/ stress or anxiety. Bc of her diagnosis we see a lot of specialists and therapists gets them overwhelmed especially if her scheduled or routine changes. You can aslo try / magnesium/ lavender /

Oh that’s awesome. I Will ask about it today at her doctors appointment. Right now she is on Prozac 1 mg & I am seeing no difference. She been on it a month n a half as well. She was on Zoloft for almost 3 months with no change. Prozac does not seem to be helping her either. Her meltdowns are outrageous and lasting still. It’s been going on for over a year now.

My son is 4 1/2 and his doctor prescribed Risperdal which is an anti-psychotic medication and helps with anxiety. He’s been on it a month half of 5 mg tablet so a very low dose. It’s really helped a lot especially with sleeping at night and he doesn’t have meltdowns anymore and is in a better mood during the day and is more engaged with our family and daily life around him.

No medicine was recommended? My daughters has been doing these severe meltdowns for over a year now & none of the 4 therapy’s seem to help her calm down. They say Prozac will help.
