How do I get my 3yo nonverbal autistic son to vomit when he is sick instead of swallowing it back down?

Maybe practice spitting something like applesauce out in the sink when he is not sick? You can demonstrate and try to make it fun, just so he gets used to the mechanics of doing this. I also keep a “fun” barf bucket next to the bed that has animals on it.
