Are there any resources available for medically complex kiddos, with autism?Or websites or support groups or anything
Are you in Nebraska? I'm going off another response post. I found this resource:
https://autismnebraska.org/?s=Support+group
individuals who have multiple, co-occurring chronic conditions that affect multiple organ systems and result in significant functional limitations, high healthcare needs or utilization, and the need for specialized, coordinated care from multiple providers.
I would say by medicallycomplex I mean meeting multiple specialties and meeting some kind of equipment to keep them alive.Whether it's a feeding tube, whether it's trach.
My daughter has a u t s two syndrome and likely autism.A u t s two syndrome includes needing a feeding tube, ataxia and a million other things that I can't remember right now
What do you mean by medically complex?
