I feel like I could use some advice from others who have gone through this. My son is six and in kindergarten. He has ADHD and level 2 ASD. @A MyAutismTeam Member thanks a ton for the full story. That pretty much exactly describes my little guy’s situation. I have a meeting with his SPED scheduled so I will look into what it would look like to get him into the smaller classroom.

And you are totally right, I do have to focus on what is best for my kiddo. I struggle not knowing that answer a lot of the times, but I’m learning.

I just want to add something so you can see other options- have you looked into a smaller spec ed class that would only have 4-7 kids in it? Your son would still have an IEP.
