I procrastinate until I can't take the "mess" anymore then I tackle it head on and get it done. I don't have much to declutter anymore though. I love donating to second hand shops in my area.

I have difficulty letting things go, to be honest. I definitely have hoarding tendencies. I can throw away garbage just fine, but I have a large collection of plushies and I'm addicted to body sprays and lotions, lol! Same with jewelry.

Collections count as treasure or to be cherished and I understand that and jewellery is worth something
I know it’s hard for me too

Ever since my divorce I want to declutter as much as possible after seeing how much duplicate items (dinnerware, towels, dirt devils etc.) that I had in the home before it sold. I am sure those military family who move many times can also relate about the burden of extra things on a moving truck.

Growing up we as a family usually had an annual yard sale block party and church donation drives. I been able to even give 2nd hand-me-downs to homeless shelters. So, I am glad the tackle it part has multiple degrees of impact

You can donate toys, games to churches, schools or even senior centers. Or even better donate your time and talent with your art supplies to rush in a new wave of artist. Who knows you might see your inspiration at your local museum/art show
