I don't take advantage of outdoors but now the weather nice I think I will try to get out
I think will show Jas, nonverbal autistic son more about gardening

I'm a plant killer gave up on it a long time ago. I have a few fake plants around. I have plenty of parks around where I live.

I just have some fake flowers and plants, otherwise I tend to forget about watering and caring for the real stuff. We have a couple of trees and greenery in the front yard that my son and husband love caring for, so it's nice to have those pops of color. We are near a few parks, so when it's cooler out, we enjoy that landscaping as well.

This is my jam, my zen
Every year I have raised flower beds and a 10 by 10 vegetable garden
Gardening provides significant therapeutic benefits for individuals with autism, offering a structured, sensory-rich environment that improves focus, patience, and motor skills. It acts as a calming, low-pressure activity that can enhance emotional regulation, reduce sensory defensiveness, and foster social interaction through shared, purposeful work

You might want to try growing plants in a couple of small flower pots. Easy to manage & portable.
