It can get messy, but my daughter loves to peel the paper off of crayons. We buy a bunch of inexpensive boxes and she loves to dump them all into one pile, and then break and peel. She also loves water, so we put out a bin on a towel on the floor and she steps in and out of it (she could also sit in the bath for an hour lol). On the iPad, her favorite apps are SpeechBlubs, the Bimi Boo apps, and PokPok. She's a huge fan of Disney and YouTube as well.
