Ok, 2 with Severe Autism, and 1 dangling close to the spectrum. ...we all have been doin ABA for at least 4 straight years. Of course there a zillions of positives, I'm wondering if it's possible to max out? Do bx Analysts SEE the kid imprisoned in the body? Or do they only see the behavior

Our OT wants to try something called the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP). She says she’s used it with other kids to help regulate the fight or flight response. She claims it decreases the severity and frequency of meltdowns. I’ve gotta be honest, I’ve been reading but I still I don’t really understand much about it!

He isn't hitting out of anger or from being upset...He hits and slaps and taps you when he is excited or happy. We have tried saying no nice touch sitting him down beside us so many different things but nothing seems to work. Please help any ideas would be great Thank you
I read some article during a research for alternative treatment methods and became curious on the subject of Homeopathic treatment of autism.
