my son 4 years old has ADD , he is on biomedical,and fein gold therapy, no improvment as regards the attention and memory especially short memory . is there any help as this any self experience?

My wife wants have Nerotherapy sessions for my son who is 7 to help him with communication behavior ect. It is not covered by insurance. I think medication would be better. Has anyone used Nerotherapy before and if so how was your experience with it? Thank You

has anyone tried neurotherapy? wondered if it could help 5 yr old nonverbal asd. We had tried a few months sgo- but could not get him to stay still enough for a brain scan

My 7-year-old still struggles with his language skills. He knows what he wants to say, but can't find the words or mixes up the words. What's a successful form of therapy to help him with this? I've heard OT, or neuro type therapies tend to help "wake up" that part of the brain. He gets a little private OT, but I'm thinking it's not enough. Any advice would be helpful.

School is pusing hard for my J, (who turns 4yrs old next week) to be medicated for his ASD/ADHD challenges. I am not against meds just not sure about medicating a 4 year old. Advise, information and wisdom welcomed to help me make a informed decision.

I just read about it yesterday. My son is 8, high functioning maybe Aspergers, he makes good eye contact with me but not so much with other people. He plays well with other children most of the time, has some anxiety and some attention problems but nothing that we feel needs medicating.

My daughter has had this problem all her life, she can go weeks without it, are any other parents experiencing this problem?

We have had a very hard summer. My son is 9 years old , non verbal, low functioning, very irritable and aggressive all the time and has been on respirdol for quite a few years and he has had to have it increase it a lot because after a few months it doesn't help him anymore. My son was recently prescribed Celaxa 10mg to help with anxiety issues. He's only 10 years old. He is currently on Focalin XR 10mg for ADHD. I have to admit that I'm not crazy about all these drugs, especially when you read about all the possible side effects. Advice, please!!!
