My husband & I want to move our family out to Colorado in the next 2 years. We would love to live near the mountains and also near a community that has programs like Easter Seals so our daughter can get out of the house and have fun during the summer. Where would be the best place to move?

Towns around the Sacramento area with good schools/access to services?

My husband and I are floating the idea of leaving Los Angeles and moving north in the next year or two. His parents live in Placerville. It would be a lot cheaper for us to live up there, and with his family nearby we might have more support. Of course when choosing a location we need to think about our son and his needs. Do any of you live in that area of northern california and could share how it has been for you/your kids in regards… read more

Best PUBLIC Schools in Michigan for Autism

I will be moving to Michigan soon and am afraid I won't fine my son a school that will take as much care of him as the one he's leaving. He is high function autistic most of his problems are social awkwardness. He has a LOT of friends here, all the teachers love him, he NEVER gets bullied. I am terrified that I will be making a huge mistake moving him somewhere else. He has been at this school 2yrs and loves it. I'm just afraid the kids won't accept him, staff will have… read more
