I am a psychologist in Santiago, Chile. The family has been given this resource to address extreme tantrums and frustration tolerance issues. The center seems very expensive. Their own testimonials give positive reviews. I an wondering whether anyone has gone through their behavioral training for individuals and families and what your experience was like?

My son has developed new behavior problems on top of the usual ones we have. He just turned four and has now started being rough with others not just himself. I have him in speech, occupational and physical therapy already. Will behavioral therapy help the behaviors? Or am i just putting him in too much therapy adding that to the mix and he might not do well in the other therapies. I was wondering what instructional books or videos you have used and found successful for ABA?

My son David is a 6 years old very smart boy, he has moderate ASD, we live in Michigan and he goes to ASD class at public school, I was looking for a better school system for him and came across private autism schools in a different states because we do not have such a school in Michigan. Those schools offer small size programs with special education teacher and an ABA therapist in the class to help those kids.

My son is not aggressive but once ever so often he gets really dis regulated which escalates when the staff at the therapeutic school out him in a hold.
My son will say thing like, "you will pay for this" or "I have powers to invent things that will get rid of you people". He was suspended and had an emergency psyc evaluation.
She thinks it's a power trip. He feels he has no control. My question is first is this common?
Second, how can I make the school understand his outbursts.

I have a three year old who will be four in February. I found this wonderful site after my eight year old son was diagnosed with Asperger's. I look forward to connecting with you.
