Overnight camps we used were Firefly which is North Chicago around Grayslake area. They are staffed by grad students studying psychiatry. Also have scholarship opportunities. Through the JCC.
Another great overnight camp is YMCA McGraw 20 minutes from Lake Geneva. We were introduced to it when the day therapeutic school had an all day field trip there. It has a terrific climbing wall, and they had a Harry Potter theme week our Son loved.
