Generally you can get ABA, speech, OT, and PT. they are going to base how much by their evaluations on your child. You can request more at your IEP meeting but they may not give you what you want. You are going to have to fight for what you need

My son was 9 when diagnosed- the best setting was public school with inclusion setting and a Paraprofessional- we had him evaluated by the Einstein/ Rose Kennedy Center- their recommendations were: speech therapy emphasis on social, occupational therapy, guidance counseling (as an outlet and as a social skills source). The ticks are a method of self soothing to calm himself down when his world seems overwhelming. My son (now 19) would flap or walk in circles- he doesn't do that anymore- now he paces back and forth for about 30 minutes. A good occupational therapist can help address the ticks if the behavior is disruptive in class room.

My son also has ticks, ABA therapy has been really helpful for this. He still stims at home but no longer at school which is ok. He can stim as long as it doesn't interfere with daily life. He gets ABA in school. So see if your school district will provided before you try and get it at home.

Ask for an IEP meeting to change the goals and request more time on speech therapy. Speak up for your child and explain that 15 minutes a week is not enough therapy to make a significant impact on your sons' progress. Not sure what to do about the ticks other than contacting your child's doctor for advice and possibly changing meds.
