My son is obsessed with opening and closing doors. We put locks on the top he can't reach and that helps. He gets mad he can't open them but then he moves on.

My nephew's the same. We try to stop him and have taken out all doors in their house except the front door, bathroom and garden door in the kitchen

Adryan does that as well but mainly with drawers. I usually try to redirect his attention to something else, sometimes it results in a meltdown but other times he's okay with it.
