If it is an issue because the child cannot understand something or that they are frustrated because they have limited communication skills then disciplining them is pointless and ineffective.

Trust me we do not let either of our children get away with bad behavior but our daughter specifically we are very easy on because she is nonverbal and aggression issues so she does not respond to disapline very well.

People who do not understand ASD always think we just let our children walk all over us and just misbehave, but they have no clue so I never listen to people that have no idea what we deal with. Parent as you see fit and do not let others tell you what to do
