We are beyond disappointed with our school system here, and our oldest son (neurotypical) will begin homeschooling after this school year is over. Our middle son (ASD) does not have to start kindergarten until Fall 2015, but I'm afraid we'll run into problems with the school system or services if he's not enrolled in public school. Thanks! Yes, we've visited lots of websites and I know we won't run into any problems with our neuro kids, but given the issues we've had with the school regarding our son with ASD, I'm a little nervous lol. It's always so reassuring to get on here, no matter what we've got going on at the time. Thank you :)

Hi, we homeschool our nine year old in Indiana. By state law, a child doesn't have to attend school until age 7. Also, a homeschool is a non-accredited private school in Indiana, so you have more freedoms than in some other states.
