She is very anxious and nervous about it. We've toured the school & met with all her future teachers. I just keep thinking I'm missing something. Maybe I'm as nervous as she is

We did school visits, meet the teacher and a tour of the school. My son is in a life skills class so he didn't have to change classrooms throughout the day which helped. He was actually eager to be more grown up and in high school so there wasn't a lot of anxiety involved. Having said that, the demands of high school proved to be too much and he didn't like his teacher (neither did I). We ended up changing schools, did all of the same transitioning and it worked out much better.
