On the therapists recommendation, we got our son a pressure vest (not weighted). He wears it no problem, but I haven't seen any difference in behavior. The OT never really gave us any indication and is off on summer vacation.
Do you use one and how often do you use it?
We have a combination pressure and weighted vest. Our OT said there are a lot of opinions there, but she recommended 20 mins on, an hour off. I have noticed that the days she has OT right before tutoring (and wears the vest), that she does much better with the tutor than the days she doesn't have OT first.
