Los Angeles, CA

Moving to Boston and wondering if there are any parents that can guide me through the maze of getting speech, OT, and ABA therapy for my son who is six years old. Any help will be truly appreciated. Thanks

All of those services are the responsibility of the school district in MA. If they cannot provide enough in school they have to contract someone outside of school after school hours. You need to get this done through the IEP. I would contract the school district ahead of time to put a plan in place. We contacted the director of special Ed and let her know we were enrolling and gave her the heads up we were coming. We also sent the evaluations from out of state.
