We have recently just come accross this problem. Son aged 6 has started humping the sofa. I tried explaining its private not to do it but he did it again a few times when je thinks your not looking. Did it when the childminder was here-embarrassing. Should we seek professional help??? Should i get cross? Conscious also not to make him feel dirty and of the fact i want him to be able come to me if he has feelings he doesn't understand when he is older?? How did your situation pan out??

Hi my son would do it all the time. I would tell him quite hand all the time I would see him. I hope that helps. He is now 11 years old Now he does it once in while.
