My first question is about autism beds? I need an indestructible bed for my daughter. I tried tents they don’t work... my husband built her something but she might outgrow it soon. Second question is can you qualify for medical if you have ASD diagnosis and have private insurance in CA? I want to see if I can get a bed covered through insurance I don’t think my private insurance would cover it. Thanks for any feedback! Blessings
My daughter is on Medicaid - but only because she is a former foster child. It's my understanding that once private insurance is available, and depending on the state, it is the primary. Your state should have a Medicaid Ombudsman (usually can be found through DCF or DCFS).
You may want to check eBay. There area couple of metal hospital cribs listed in Redding.
Thanks, i learned something new today. Some insurance companies do cover them- not sure how you would go about it.
