I don't know your son but people with autism generally have fewer romantic partners which extends into fewer marriages. Then of course thre's the huge imbalance of the sexes with what 85% male and 15% females with ASD. Then there's the notion with have X number of sexes now.
Could just avoid some bad outcomes. Rape and abuse are a big no nos. Avoid unwanted pregnancies- condoms. Dating is basically selecting a future spouse on mutual attraction. It's a trial run and supposed to be fun. I wasn't very good at figuring out females so it took a long time to get married. I wish I had been more assertive with girls years ago because you can't go back to the past and dating doesn't get better with age.
Have you seen the Netflix docuseries “Love on the Spectrum” ? It is fantastic. Maybe watch it together and talk about it?
