Risperdione helped my son a great deal he has very little aggression now. He's been on it since puberty he was 14. No weight gain which is one of the side effects. He's 22 years old now. I was against meds but didn't have a choice puberty and Autism is a horrible mix . My son was very violent before medication .

Sad and frustrating they haven’t developed better and more effective medication for ASD.
