I read all the posts & I just have to say that there’s one that seems like a scam. It’s been bothering me not saying something & frankly creating anger. We deal with enough lies & runarounds in the real world with our children. It shouldn’t be tolerated on here. @A MyAutismTeam Member you are writing very kind & supportive words to Elijah2 & I don’t believe this is a real person experiencing what they say they are. What is being written by him or her is not how it works, at all!
@A MyAutismTeam Member I know that one, too...the one who would post SEVERAL questions a day about diapers on their teenage daughter. The one I thought of first was the one who went by multiple names and their "adopted" kid always ends up inpatient, with tons of adaptive equipment. Same story, same themes, different "characters." I know a pattern when I see one 😉
@A MyAutismTeam Member I second that. It sounds like the person is extremely lonely and looking for attention, but going about it in the wrong way. They also seem to have an unhealthy obsession with diapers and adaptive equipment - it's an insult to people who are genuinely looking for/giving support. I hope the person gets the help they need.
So there have been some other accounts with other similar posts. I am not sure if they are real or not. I have backed off from responding but wonder about diagnosis like multiple personalities or maybe someone who has some severe trauma and is disconnected from reality. I am sorry for how you are feeling and your feelings are valid. A lot of the past posts were supposedly when the person was institulionized.... Idk.....
@A MyAutismTeam Member that's the one! I don't believe they were the same person who was threatening others. These two accounts popped up out of nowhere last week and all they did was threaten, with few-word posts.
Now I know whom you are all talking about. Yes, obessed with diapers on a teen I think? I hope you reported them because I don't see any new updates.
