My son loves to play in the dirt and loves the water (even the rain!), so I know he loves nature. We've never taken him to a garden or orchard, but I bet he'd love that too. I know I would!
My son loves nature. He says the ocean waves calm him. A friend of mine has invited us a couple of times this summer to pick blueberries and raspberries in her garden. Last weekend we dug up potatoes, my son didn't like touching the dirt, but he pulled the plants up for us. Also, a couple of weekends ago we attended an event where we learned about herbs and their uses. My son loved each one of these experiences.

I don't have a garden, but i do have plants at my condo. Sometimes i get my kid to water them he does make a mess but it's just water π I do love nature it makes me calm, but my kid only likes splash pads in playgrounds/parks π
My son used to help with the garden created by his autism preschool but has not done anything like it since. He does like being outdoors with a gentle wind.
