Well I know at times its hard for these kids to make friends. But he likes and does very well on the computer. If this group helps us parents/care givers, why cant something like this help our kids?

I think it would be a great idea provided there is a trustworthy moderator to keep the trolls and wierdos away.

I am thinking it may be a good idea. my 18 yr old has no friends, ans is learning to use a computer, email & such. even a pen pal would be better than no friends.

Good idea. I've a 13 y/o boy who'd undoubtedly benefit from interacting with others on the spectrum.

My son socializes pretty good. Just wanted to see what others thought of the question. And I thought maybe it would help him cause he could see there are other kids like him out there from all over. Maybe finding another kid he could talk too and they would understand.Friendship maybe too, just a bit of everything.
