I am looking to relocate. I currently live in Bidville ISD and loved it for my older 3 kids (not on the spectrum). McKinney, Plano, Prosper, frisco has great programs. They treat the kids wonderful.
I can vouch for Wylie ISD who my sons ECI team suggested and said they are very fond of the services/care they provide. Its a small town and while I was apprehensive about him starting in April of this year, I am so thankful to God for finding this school. The teachers are wonderful and while my son can be aggressive and uncooperative they have found a way to make progress with him in 2 months time.
If you haven't joined Warrior Mom & Dads on Facebook, do so!! You will get lots of feedback on many districts. All too often, there are very schools in a district that may be great, and others not so much. Really important to look at before making a move. Frisco probably has the best reputation for helping kids on spectrum, but our kids are all very unique and individual so it's best to get feedback from many parents and visit the schools.
Cedar Hill isd and midlothian isd have really good autism response teams...
I've heard good things about Plano and frisco.
