Hello, we've heard great things about the school districts in Irvine. My 5 year old daughter was diagnosed with moderate ASD. She's been in a special day class in San Leandro, CA and has been in every type of service since she was initially diagnosed (private OT, ABA, Speech and music therapy). The school has offered the basics, and not even OT! After sending letters she will finally have an assessment. She is transitioning to Kinder. At this point we are willing to move wherever services are… read more
I cannot help you with good schools in Irvine. But I can tell you. California has a lot of fantastic laws that protect parents, especially when it comes to getting records And most importantly all the… read more

Help my ex wont give my son his meds on the weekends or vacation time he has him. so my son goes days without it and comes home more upset and violent with his sisters and me. I have try to talk to his father about making sure that he gets it but got told that he can give it to himself which the doctor says no because of where he is on the spectrum. My daughter was recently diagnosed with dyslexia, I have been looking for an explanation why she can’t read when she is so smart now I know. Is a sweet and sour moment for me but now I wonder if Kaiser provides IM therapy because I know in my heart that will be of great help for her , does any one know?
Davis is 7 yrs old who was finally diagnosed this month. The hospital said they were going to refer him to a therapist nearby. Just wanted a little more insight or experience on it.
It's important to note that ABA therapy is not the only approach available for supporting individuals with autism. Different individuals may respond to various interventions differently. If you have… read more
