Yes, non-verbal people are most at risk. Very worrying. It create anxiety amongst parents because we never know if they are having physical problems unless it is obvious.

It is different among each individual, just like Autism.
Everyone experiences it differently and needs specific treatment for their unique situation.
There are different Triggers that set it off.
I know personally a family that deals with it daily.

Our nonverbal children are the most vulnerable when it comes to care providers overlooking or neglecting their physical health. I hope your son is alright @A MyAutismTeam Member

I don't think many people do. The difference between us is sometimes great my dd is variable.

Yes thanks he is fine as on safe medicine and looked after by very specialist people. The case was on Healthunlocked on person with learning disability and neglected because she had mental health problems.
