Both of my twins toddlers do not eat much. They are both in OT, but I don't think they do the feeding part during OT enough. It's been hard at times.
I have heard some people say they have had good outcomes with play therapy and feeding clinics.
Yes! My sweet third child has it since she was a baby. She is now a teen and it's still hard. TLB Therapy is amazing and is the only thing that has helped beside me just excepting her food choices. I also try to cook meals I post on a food menu weekly -predictability is very important to all my kids- when off menu all of them are upset. I did try for my daughter to make a separate menu for herself to alleviate hunger fatigue and overwhelmed when thinking about what to eat. Offer choices too
My son has this. He's 5 and won't eat solid foods. It's been a struggle. He's in OT and feeding therapy. For around 18 months. Such slow progress. He gags at the sight of food sometimes though that's gotten better. It's hard
Thank you Nicole and Alyssa for replying. My daughter got referred to an eating disorder clinic for the feeding part. I will look into OT. I appreciate your help.
