Trying to have all therapies that what the doctor suggested my daughter has severe autism. Speech , OT, ABA and she goes to school. Now I need PT ? I am so frustrated it is so hard to combine all of them together at the same time …
The therapy center my son goes to has all the therapies there for him. It is a ABA therapy center.
she gets OT/speech/PT at school once a week for 20 mins goes to school for 4 hours and ABA in the afternoon. I’ve moved around therapies so my daughter wont feel overwhelmed bc she stimulates a lot. I see progress at school but not with ABA we change it to the afternoon a lot more tantrums and meltdowns. We have been doing ABA at home now for almost a year & I sometimes wonder is it helping or is it not ?? My daughter (7 years old) already has an ASD diagnosis through our Regional Center. She received it years ago after already having received nearly two years of related services.
