I'm looking at getting my son a new pediatrician in the macomb county area that specialized with kiddos on the spectrum. My son current ped I love dont get me wrong but hes not been very helpful with tips/trick for helping me with my son, and won't give any medicine to help either with the hyperactiveness lack of sleep until hes evaluated. This inquiry is for those who have adult sons or daughters receiving state aide. Our son was able to receive adult services before the age of 21. He attends an adult day program, but we also were able to receive funding for support services. I find that giving into him might be making things worse. His anger has spiked and when we had company it was too much stimulation to tree decorate. I would like some advice on what would work with fixations and anger fits?? I don't like holding him down for shots at the drs. Ect.
