so my son's allergist tried to prescribe xyzal, but medicaid denied it..so he said he would just prescribe allergra that medicaid would cover and works better than zyrtec...but I picked up the medicine today and it is Hydroxyzine...anyone have experiance with this? It is apparently an antihistmine used to treat anxiety....
Hydroxyzine definitely helped with my daughter's behavior.
It makes her calmer without being zonked. She appears more rested, calmer and more attentive.
My son has Absonce Seizures so his doctor first put him on Zerontin well he was having headaches and stomach aches daily as well as losing 2 pounds in 2 months.His doctor switched him to Depakote which has caused very horrible behavior issues so he was switched back to the Zerontin but for the next 3 days he has be on both meds,I'm just hoping that "my" well behaved son returns after the Depakote is out of his system.Has anyone else had experience with your children not listening being violent… read more

Try to find ABA that is done at home. When your child is most comfortable. I can tell you that ABA has been a blessing to my son and our family. I highly recommend it.
