Thanks everyone very helpful..!
Thanks @A MyAutismTeam Member
Hi, can anyone tell me which is the best State for adult autism services? I am in Illinois and having a very difficult time. I should have hired a lawyer years ago but chose to get free legal help which was a big mistake. Please folks get an advocate! Educators with masters degrees will ignore your child and say " there is nothing wrong with him". It is a cruel and heartless world!
My husband is from PGH,PA.His children from first marriage are deaf and get all kinds of help in PA.
We are looking for reliable self help resources which we can conduct at home, on top of engaging third party help.
@A MyAutismTeam Member that's a fantastic sharing!! Like the combination of physical crawling and matching the answer.
I think about it all of the time. I want to make a plan when we have a better idea of what he might need. We do not want him to be lonely.
My Daughter is 2 and I heard they start at 3yrs but stop at 5yrs. And the waiting list is years long? People are still waiting to receive therapy and financial help for children. This information has me terrified. Because out of pocket cost and co pays off insurance won't cover it for me.

Our oldest (girl) is on the spectrum. Our youngest (boy) is 17 months and no vaccines yet but thinking about starting given measles outbreaks. He shows no signs of being on the spectrum and seems NT. If you have been in this situ did you vaccinate your subsequent children, what were the results, and what delayed vax schedule did you use? Thanks!!!
To close the loop we are doing delayed vax sched since he is starting preschool I'm the fall. MMR, dtap and polio so far and all seems ok.
I know every child is different and so much depends on the teacher. Just curious what everyone's opinion on the subject is. Has anyone tried one or the other or both??
