Our GI Natural Path does not take our insurance. We are looking for someone that will take our insurance. We would prefer a GI Specialist, Family Doctor, or Pediatrician, but are open. We live in Chicago Western suburbs.

Thank you @A MyAutismTeam Member. I knew that you were only trying to help and you said that you did not see her. Some people might have better experiences with her, but the experience did cause us to be a little careful.

We felt like she was trying to sell a lot of tests, including different versions of the same test. She sold us vitamins with dairy and later tried to say that is ok. She seemed to blame us for letting our son have immunizations and Swine flu shot. She recommended an anti immunization seminar which we attended and Autism One conference which was good. Our son had a hard time. Dr. Dumont was comforting to our son and gave him breaks. We saw Dr. Koles through Generation Rescue but she also billed our insurance and did the same with our friends that saw her. She seemed to have a temper. We did not bring our son to a results appointment so we could pay attention. She seemed angry.(she probably wanted to perform and sell a test) She yelled at someone on the phone during our appointment. Our appointment with Dr. Dumont seemed more professional. He was recommended by a Psychiatrist. We are a bit cynical and sometimes mixed on who to believe as far as biomedical. Please share if you hear of anyone else. At least she takes insurance.
