I'm looking at getting my son a new pediatrician in the macomb county area that specialized with kiddos on the spectrum. My son current ped I love dont get me wrong but hes not been very helpful with tips/trick for helping me with my son, and won't give any medicine to help either with the hyperactiveness lack of sleep until hes evaluated. He wont be evaluated until sometime in nov give or take a few months.

We just moved to Rockwall , Texas and out looking for a good pediatric psychiatrist for our son who is autistic with ADHD and OCD , does anyone have any recommendations for a Dr in the Dallas area ?

Help my ex wont give my son his meds on the weekends or vacation time he has him. so my son goes days without it and comes home more upset and violent with his sisters and me. I have try to talk to his father about making sure that he gets it but got told that he can give it to himself which the doctor says no because of where he is on the spectrum. My 5 year old son has started to say vulgar language that I don't use.He likes to watch youtube and this where he's getting it from. How can I HV him stop in a way that he understands and not just fear the consequence of it being said.

My family and I have tried to attend church and my son gets very antsy. And other ppl there just stare when he starts to mess with stuff.I'll hand him phone because that's the only way to calm him. So my question is how can I help him with that.

I have job and Care Home Staff to look after son and take him out. Medicine - grateful for all family to have their own medicine and son to have his as well

His school provides bare minimum with therapy. Our kids (only) were once on Medicaid and it seemed to provide pretty decent therapy throughout the week, however, with a pay bump at my job, and my wife now going back to work, we are just over the threshold for Medicaid. Private therapy is something that I know is worth it but again cannot simply afford it. What does boredom look like in your ASD kid? What actions do they do when they are bored? How can you tell? If they are not bored just under-stimulated, how do you explain to others the difference??
