I don’t focus on formal levels. What we focus on is getting my daughter to learn skills at her pace and with success. What matters most is your child being able to achieve what their best is. That… read more
To be honest, I would focus on communication and understanding over actual language and verbal skills. What is important is that your child can communicate successfully regardless of what that looks… read more
Hey guys, my Evelyn is outgrowing her Goodnites size XL. We have tried depends but they don’t hold as much urine at night. What are some recommendations of diapers that you guys have tried that work for your kids? She’s about 130lb and we still haven’t mastered potty training so in the meantime we have to use pull ups. Thanks!
My daughter is 115lbs and is still wearing the XL goodnites from time to time. (Usually only for her period at night)

I've read that stealing is not something that goes along with autism. However, I've researched this a little bit and have found that many people ask questions about it. My grandson doesn't "steal" in the truest sense of the word, but he does take things that aren't his, like pencils, scissors, and other random items. When asked, he as no real answer about why he does it.

My daughter has been diagnosed with autism but has a quality that has never been addressed. She has one eye that tends to wander at various times. Is this common with autistic kids or is it something else? She seems to be able to bring it back and focus if you get her attention but it is there. Just wondering....
Yes, my son Roman experienced this and we took him to an eye doctor that focuses on Behavioral Vision Therapy. They were able to give him a very in depth vision exam that determined that his eyes were… read more

My son has been on Daytrana patch since February. He currently is at 20 mg. I feel like it is not working at all. He is more irritable, aggressive and impulsive. He cannot swallow pills due to sensory issues. We previously tried Focalin XR (he kept chewing the beads) and Vyvanse (increased tics). I was wondering about Methylin as it comes in a liquid or chewable or Dextroamphetamine which also comes in a liquid. Anyone have any experience with these???? Thanks!
My child has been on adderal for 10 years and risperdone it works well for her
