I'm wondering if my child constantly needing oral stimulation can be related to her ASD? I didn't get a straight answer when I asked the doctor about it. Not sure if it's Pica since it's not necessarily dirt, paint chips, drywall, etc. it's more like paper, cardboard, plastic, hair, etc. She's constantly chewing on anything and everything and sometimes consumes these things.

Also, has anyone qualified for “Protective Supervision" of children with special needs? The americanaadvocacygroup.com, AAG, claims they can assist at every stage of this process. Does anyone know if they are legit?
Hi yes, I’m my oldest daughter’s caregiver. I get paid to take care of her.
I am interested in signing up my daughter for swimming lessons. She loves the water and I notice that she tries to float on her own, but I am not sure If she is capable of succeeding in that due to her lack of listening skills. Is there any other mothers out there that has a child with autism and has them in swimming lessons?
