Has anyone had any experience with their child with Asperger's Syndrome taking German in school? My older daughter took Spanish in high school (she also has Asperger's), but my son will be taking German and I am worried because it can be a very difficult language to learn.
You'd be surprised with Asperger Students and a foreign language. Usually they do very well.

He has been putting his hands in his dirty diapers then mouthing his hands. I figured if I put pants in over his onesie then he couldn't do it. Boy was I wrong. He still figured out how to get to his diaper

What is the best GPS for a 5 yr old boy? My son tends to wander off also, also likes to run away. Concern that he will run off at school especially in the morning that they wait on the office with door opened. The schol it that secured. I warned tha teachers about this.

My son constantly has to drum on the walls, he has drums but does not use it. I understand they he has to do it but are their in options or is it something I might have to live with?

So I was wondering if anyone else adds a parent report to the IEP that the district does. I've read about it online and we did one but wanted to see how typical it was. The people we showed it to had never seen or heard of one. But all the best IEP strategies that pop up when I do searches definitely do a parent report. Even saying when you sign please see attached report.

With my son finally have a diagnosis of Autism what therapy can we request from the school distict? He gets 15 minutes of speech a week (not enough at all). We are going to request that he gets more speech therapy each week. We are worried about his ticks that he has as well. What therapy could we get him in to help with the ticks that he has?
